"Wheresoever you go,
go with all your heart."
It was in 2006 that I decided to open the doors of
Woolgirl, and it was in April 2007 that we
actually did open the doors of Woolgirl to the
ever-growing population of knitters on the world wide web.
What fun we’ve had since then!
I’ve enjoyed meeting so many of you via email and phone
(and in person at various shows throughout the year!),
and have learned so much about the world of knitting
and about myself over the last few years.
It’s been a wonderful experience to say
the least.
This is why it is with sadness that I announce we
will be closing our online shop this spring.
Due to many health issues that I’ve had related to MS
which have increased over the course of the last year,
I have decided to make the difficult and heartbreaking
decision to close the shop portion of Woolgirl.
We will continue with our line of clubs and kits
that have grown so popular over the last
couple of years; however, the online shop portion
of Woolgirl will close as soon as our inventory is sold.
What we have is what we have,
and once it’s gone, it’s gone.
Currently most items in our shop are listed at 35% off
and will remain at that sale price until we close the shop.
For those of you who are in the Portland (or surrounding areas)
we will be opening the doors of the shop to the public for 2 days
in February (February 26-27) and would love to have
you come by if you're in the area.
More details about this will be announced on
our blog and website in the next week.
We appreciate your patience with orders
during this time – we hope to process all orders
within a few days of the time each order is placed.
If you have any questions at all please feel free to email
us directly at [email protected] OR call us at
503-210-5453. We’ll do our best to answer your
questions in a
timely manner.
A big hug and thank you to each and every one of you
for your continued support of the Woolgirl online
shop over the past few years. We look forward to
continuing our relationship with each of you via
our clubs and kits in the future!
And as a good friend of mine recently said…Woolgirl is
not actually closing – we’re just going through
spring shearing and will grow a new fleece.
Sincerely,
Jen
