Abby got a haircut this weekend, and this was the best shot I could get of her. She knows the camera all too well and turns her head each time I aim it even remotely in her direction. So, this is Abby from the side - with a new haircut. :) Doesn't she look so cute? I think a new haircut always makes her look so much younger, and thinner. Now if only I could get a haircut to make me look thinner. :)
On Wednesday of this week I am opening the sign-ups for the Hello Kitty Sock Kits, which I promised some of you we would definitely put together. So, here are the details:
- There are only 35 spots available - that's it, so once these are filled, they are filled.
- The yarn is White Oak Studio. You know it's going to be gorgeous. :)
- The kits will include the yarn (in your choice of fingering or sport weight), a simple stitch pattern, a stitch marker, and lots of fun Hello Kitty extras.
- The cost for each kit is $50 and this includes shipping.
- Payments will be due in early April.
- Kits will ship out in late April.
- On Wednesday you can email me with your request for a spot and spaces will be filled on a first come/first serve basis.
Also on Wednesday of this week we are holding our 2nd Easter contest. Hope to see you then!
Happy Monday!
Abby is adorable!
I'm really excited about a Hello Kitty sock kit! It sounds like it will be really great :o)

Abby is cute! Hello Kitty! So, are you saying we should email you at 12:01 am on Wednesday? Fanatics of Hello Kitty are dying to know.

I had the same question as Belnda (since I live on the West Coast, this is important since we often get shut out of early morning sign ups!) :)

Great Question Belinda - will 12:01 AM EST on Weds count as Weds? ;) *sets alarm clock*

Wah! I'm not allowed to join any more clubs! But I can't wait to live vicariously through all the other lucky knitter that will be getting this cool package!

I have to join this kit! My friend is a die-hard Hello Kitty fan. So I'd make the socks for her and give her the rest of the package as a b-day gift (an expensive b-day gift...).

Yeah, I'm lining up behind CPurl here on the West Coast strategizing the time zone thing.
I'd be so thrilled if I get in.

Just sent my mail in *fingers crossed* - sent one from home and work too (just in case one fails) - how sad and slightly obsessive am I? That said Hello Kitty AND Yarn is like chocolate and Peanut Butter: better together!

I sent my email bright and early this morning. I really hope to get in - I love Hello Kitty!

This is the first time that I tried to get in the club. How long until you find out if you made it into the 35?? The suspense is killing me!!! :)
