I have a little plant area next to the window in my office where most of my African Violets live. They seem to really love the light that comes through that window each day, so most of them have congregated there. I came home from our recent trip to find most of them blooming, which was a wonderful surprise!
Of course my quick snapshots don't do these justice. When it comes to African Violets I'm a little on the obsessed side - if I were to take a snapshot of all of my African Violets, it might be a bit disturbing, so we won't go there (at least not today). But speaking of obsessions...
I'm completely obsessed with the Trueblood colorway from Blue Moon that arrived in the mail while I was away - isn't it fantastic?
Yep, it's already wound and ready to hit the needles. Any guess as to which socks I'm knitting???

Oooooh, what a beautiful red! With a color that rich, I would guess you're knitting something very textured, like a sock from Cookie A. I'm going to randomly guess you're knitting her Glynis sock!

Considering it is "True Blood" Red, I would guess My Vampire Boyfriend from the Fall 09 Knitty. :)

Yup. Something with a texture, I'm guessing.
I have terrible luck with African Violets! I always water them from the bottom, but seeing your photos, I wonder if they could use a little more sunshine. Hmmmm. Maybe I'll try again.

I just want to touch base to be sure you received my payment for the Lucy kit. My PayPal info has changed. I've emailed and tried calling to no avail.
Thanks a bunch!
