And now on to a few bits of shop news...



Some of you received a newsletter yesterday,
some of you did not. Our newsletter feature
of the website is currently being worked on, so my
email to some of you apparently worked - to others
it worked in overdrive (meaning you received more
than one email), and to still others the email didn't arrive
at all. So...if you didn't receive an email with our
newsletter, I apologize and we're working to
get this corrected asap. I will be sending the remainder
of the newsletter emails out later this week - as soon as
our website company gets this fixed for us.

In the meantime, I will be posting the information about
the upcoming Peanuts kits on our Kits and Clubs
page of the website in the next day or so,
so you can find out all of the juicy details there,
as well as find out how to register for the kits.



Second piece of information...we have Yarntini
in the shop! For those of you who haven't checked
out the gorgeous colorways we have available,
now is your chance!

Isn't this Woolgirl Happy colorway just yummy?



This will be the last time we will be offering
Yarntini, so get it while you can!
I will also be posting a few additional colorways,
including two one-of-a-kind colors - so watch
the shop for those tomorrow.

I will also be posting a few new Madelinetosh
silk lace colorways tomorrow, as well as
adding a few new items to the Bargain Bin.

Last bit of news...



I am off on vacation starting this Wednesday (3/25)
through Wednesday (4/8). Yep, a full two weeks!
I can't say it's a "true" vacation, as I will be on email
during this time period, but I won't be at my desk,
so in that sense it will be a wonderful vacation! :)

I will be taking some much needed rest at the beach -
some of the time by myself - some of the time with
family - so I'm very much looking forward to the break.
Can anyone say rejuvenation? :)

While I'm away, our wonderful shop assistant
(and my fabulous sister-in-law) Joanne will be
working to fill orders, and orders placed during
my absence will ship out on selected days next week.

I will be working on catching up on email during my time
away - so if you haven't heard from me, expect
an email mid-later this week! I appreciate your patience!

I wish I could sleep so deep sometimes

ahhhh...the daily life of a cat.

This week has been filled with being sick -
I have had the flu since last Sunday
and wish that I could curl up with Snuggles.
I apologize to those of you who've emailed
this week and have not heard a response.
I plan to answer most of my email this
weekend, so I appreciate your patience!

and we'll have most of her colors in both
fingering and sport weight.

We will also have new Dream in Color
colorways in the Baby Lace weight...

Our last Seven Deadly Spins shipment
went out yesterday, and for those who ordered
the Easter kits - those will be shipped out
tomorrow. Embrace the Lace is being
shipped next week - near the end of the week.
And a beach vacation soon for me....
how much I have been looking forward to this!

I love the chunky and decadent pieces of
coconut that just seem to effortlessly melt into oblivion
in your mouth while eating a macaroon.
Sounds heavenly, eh?

Follow the Yellow Brick Road

It was a super busy trip to Stitches West this weekend. Flying out

on Friday night and jumping back on a plane Sunday
afternoon, NK and I felt like true "jet setters".

We made lots of time for shopping, eating and visiting
with good friends.



Hi to Carrie, Disco, Celia, Leslie, Debbi, Susan, Babs...
and all of the wonderful people we met over the weekend.
A huge thank you to the gals at Purlescence for putting
on a wonderful night of knitting on Saturday night!
What fun!

I'm working through emails as fast as humanly possible,
so if you have emailed me between last Wednesday
and today, please rest assured that I will get to your
email within the next day or so.



We finally got all of the sock club boxes packed up and
shipped off today, and tonight is a night for celebration...
or rest...or possibly a mix of both? Somehow I am not
as completely exhausted as I usually am after a
sock club shipment and weekend of traveling,
but I know that it must be ready to catch up with
me any day now, so am bracing myself for some
possible rest needed this week. :)



We have finally posted details of the upcoming
Oz Sock Club on our website under the
Kits and Clubs section. Our space is limited
for each kit, so be sure to register early if you
are particularly interested in a kit!
