OK, is Cooper not the cutest Halloween baby you ever did see?
Oh goodness! I just want to eat him up!
I finally finished the baby blanket for him - the Frog Belly,
based on the new Miss Babs colorway called "Frog Belly",
and I think it turned out even better than expected.
Even the frogs are happy!
Happy Halloween Mr. Baby (cutest in the world) Cooper!
And in answer to those of you who have asked when the
Frog Belly colorway will be available in the shop...
soon, I answer, soon. Most likely the end of November,
so keep an eye out on our blog for more info
in the next few weeks.
wee bit behind on blog posts this week.
There is good reason for that - actually many - but
the main one and most exciting one is that we are going
through a bit of web redesign. Yep, some of the changes
we have wanted for the website are currently taking
place as we speak, so it's kept me much busier than
normal, and did I mention more stressed out than normal?
Eeek! I hope (no, I know!) that it will definitely
be worth all of this extra stress, as some of my favorite
features will be added to the website (including a wish list!),
and I've been waiting a long time for these to become active.
When the changes are ready to go "live", I will be sure to
send out a newsletter update via email,
alerting you of the changes, and we'll also
post about it here, so you'll get plenty of warning.
So....a couple of other exciting things to announce:
First, we are opening our 2009 Sock Club Sign-ups to
new members tomorrow! In order to reserve your spot
in the 2009 Sock Club, you will just need to drop
us an email at jennifer@woolgirl.com stating that you
want to reserve your spot. You will receive an email
confirmation from us within a couple of days.
Starting tomorrow, Saturday - November 1st - we will
have all of the 2009 Sock Club information listed on our
website under the Kits and Clubs section,
so you'll be able to read all about the details.
Also starting this weekend - our November Newsletter
will be arriving to an email near you, so be sure to watch
your email for that sometime during the weekend.
The Newsletter will contain information about the
2009 Sock Club, upcoming products, and a few details about our
2009 Lace Club called "Embrace the Lace",
which we plan to open for sign-ups in the next week or so.
AND, there's this last bit of a Halloween Contest!
The winner of our Halloween Blog Contest last week
is Tracy Tompkins - congratulations Tracy!
I will be contacting you regarding your Halloween loot!
Because there are so MANY other colors of pumpkins
available now, which I didn't really realize when I
posted the contest, we drew a name out of everyone
who entered - that seemed quite fair! There are so many
colors of pumpkins now...not only orange, white and
green, but also yellow, tan, blue, black, red and gray.
I have even heard that speckled and striped varieties
are available. I want one of those!
Today we are offering our last Halloween contest for
this year (boo hoo!), but it's a fun one none-the-less!
You KNOW that I could not get away without doing some
sort of Reese's promotion, right? Of course not!
Reese's are my favorite candy ever, and there's always
room for a few Reese's themed photos on my blog
each year (in my opinion)!
I found these really cool "original" wrapper candy bars
the other day, and just had to have them.
Do you think they taste any different? Well....
not really, but they are still lots of fun to eat. :)
So, the Halloween question of the week is not Reese's
related, but the winner will find themselves with a few of
these lovely confections in their winning package....
Here's the question:
This evening we each need to be aware of the werewolf and
their tell-tale signs.
What are the 4 distinctive signs of a werewolf?
The first three are:
1) A unibrow (this could describe many people that I know!)
2) Hair palms (hmmm...also several men that I know!)
3) A long middle finger (Eeek, do I know this many werewolves?)
What's the 4th sign of a werewolf?
Get this answer correct and you will be entered to win a
Halloween package which includes:
2 skeins of sock yarn in your choice of colorway from Woolgirl
and lots of Hershey goodies to satisfy your sweet tooth!
Best of luck and Happy Halloween!
